Springfield has been recognized as the first city in the United States to receive three Age-Friendly designations – Age-Friendly City, Dementia-Friendly City and Age-Friendly Health System – and was presented with these designations this morning at Live Well Springfield's Age-Friendly Summit, convened by the Public Health Institute of Western Massachusetts, held at the Raymond A. Jordan Senior Center in Springfield.

Please join us on Thursday, June 13th for the Age-Friendly City Summit
Summit organized by Live Well Springfield. We will review the findings from our housing and transportation assessment and share recommendations for an Age-Friendly Springfield. The summit will also highlight related efforts for an Age-Friendly Hospital and Dementia Friendly Community.
