
Sinead Keogh (she/her), MPH, is a Data and Evaluation Manager at the Public Health Institute of Western Massachusetts (PHIWM). Sinead has over 10 years of experience working to promote health equity, designing and conducting research, and implementing and evaluating community-based projects. At PHIWM she supports the research and evaluation needs of the Youth Mental Health Coalition (including the Beat the Odds youth leadership program), the Kresge-funded Climate Change, Health & Equity project, and the Healthy Air Network. Sinead is also a core member of the teams developing a Western MA Youth Health Dashboard website and writing Community Health Needs Assessments.
Prior to joining PHIWM, Sinead worked at ERG – conducting research and community engagement around environmental health and environmental justice topics – and at Boston University’s School of Public Health – managing a research study of chronic kidney disease among workers in Central America. She began her public health career evaluating drinking water treatment systems in rural Chiapas, Mexico.
Sinead holds B.A.s in Biology and Environmental Studies from Wesleyan University and a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health from Boston University. She is originally from a small town in Western MA (Ashfield) and outside of work enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing board games, and cross-country skiing.
