Advancing Racial Equity in the Workplace
Creating equitable workplaces requires more than intention. It requires understanding, honest reflection, and sustained action.
This page brings together a short video showing how racial inequity shows up in everyday workplace interactions, and a practical facilitation guide designed to help individuals and teams explore racial inequity and build strategies for meaningful change.
The guidebook and video were developed by the Women of Color Health Equity Collective and the Public Health Institute of Western Massachusetts as part of a project funded by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control under a Massachusetts Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Program grant.

Preparing for Change: A Journey in Racial Equity Capacity Building
This video chronicles a group of individuals and organizations working together in Western Massachusetts to create a model to address racism and racial equity. The video offers up scenarios that happen every day in our society. We hope that it also offers tools for all of us to continue learning, reflecting, growing, and working together.
